

Sago stirrer carved from a single piece of wood. The handle has a flat ended pommel at the end and a long cylindrical shaft slightly tapering towards the head of the stirrer. There is a human face carved on the front and the back of the join between the handle shaft and the paddle end. The back of the paddle is convex with detailing down the side, possibly arms of the figure. The front of the paddle has steep concave sides and is flat on the inside.
