Circular woven rush hat with hole in the middle covered in black cloth. Outer edge is reinforced with bundles of cane, with wide fringe of pleated black cloth. A square piece of black cloth covers the central hole to protect the head and is attach indirectly by cords to a square inner framework of bamboo. There is a chinstrap of pink tape.
