Miniature Islamic rosary, misbaha, of great age. 99 copper beads strung on a three-ply wool in three sections, divided by two copper stops, containing 33 beads each. These represent the three sections of the Koran, each section of which contains 33 stanzas. The number of beads are also said to represent the 99 known attributes of God. There is a blue tassel bound in copper wire.
