Includes correspondence with Boosey & Hawkes concerning the transfer of manufacture of Besson instruments to Edgware in 1948. One factor in the decision to transfer manufacture to Boosey & Hawkes was the imminent expiry of the lease of factory premises at Frederick Mews from Boosey & Hawkes (1954).
