Album of photographs depicting expeditions and colonial settlements in Sri Lanka in the 19th century

Photograph album containing 107 inserts depicting European colonists and native people in Sri Lanka in the late 19th century and sacred places, monuments and landmarks. Items 11, 31, 106 and 107 are loose. The volume contains loose handwritten slips of paper, written later, containing speculative descriptions of some of the photographs.
