Textile tool consisting of a green round pillow showing process of making lace. A paper lace pattern with some worked lace is attached with pins. 10 lace bobbins hold the threads of the worked lace. 14 further lace bobbins are detached.
Some of the bobbins have coloured beads on metal wire loops threaded through at one end ( some detached). Other are decorated with wood or metal inlay, as well as turned groves.

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
