Wooden mortar carved from a single piece of wood in the shape of a cup on a pedestal. The top part has burnt decoration and paint in vertical stripes with a black stripe around the base of the top. The top part is hollow to form the bowl. The pedestal base is in the shape of a flat topped cone with eleven facets. There is some insect damage throughout.
