bound foot shoe (shoe (clothing: footwear))

One of a pair of shoes for a woman with bound feet. Black swirl designs on grey upper, the fabric for which has a hexagonal design. Short cream-coloured sole, over which the upper projects, terminating in a point at the front. The shoe is lined with grey fabric. Said to be 'working woman's shoes from the days of foot binding.'
