headscarf

Triangular cloth headscarf from Egypt. The scarf is see through and made from thinly woven dark green cloth in a cross pattern. There are bands of glittery green, red and gold cloth woven through the scarf. The outer edge has circular green sequins woven into the fabric, whilst the central point of one of the triangles sides has a cluster of smaller silver circular sequins surrounded by the same green circular ones.
