211.11 Separate vessel drums

Small Tudum drum, body of which is made from earthenware, hide is stretched over the body of the earthenware pot which acts at the resonator. Rope is used to carry the drum while playing in a standing position.

The small tudum drum accompanies instrumental music and dance, notably in ritual contexts, of the Sora community. It is played standing.
