Dish or vessel made of beaten brass, probably a basin for hand washing. The sides are fluted echoing lotus petal shapes, the rim scalloped scalloped and the upper surface decorated with incised motifs. Inside at the centre is a incised lotus design. On a pedestal base with a scalloped edge, decorated on the upper surface with the same engraved floral and fishscale design as is on the rim of the bowl.
