22 envelopes of black and white object photographs depicting objects form the Anthropology Collections, including objects purchased by Otto Samson in 1948. Most photographs have the corresponding object number written on the back in pen. The photographs are grouped by object type with categories as follows: agriculture; armour; clothing; containers; currency; domestic; fire making; food preparation including containers; food preparation (again); locks; lighting and heating; M&R (mythology and religion?); measurement; narcotics; personal adornment; texttiles; tools; transport; weapons; M&R (again); Wellcome (objects donated by the Wellcome Museum?).
