Memo from Natalie Tobert (assistant curator at the Horniman) to Tammany Stone and Lucy Norris (anthropologist) dated 19 August 1991 agreeing to conduct a survey of photographic collections at the Horniman Museum (including slides and audio visual materials) as a pre-requisite to setting up a computer database for the collection. The memo is attached to a copy of the finished survey dated 9 September 1991. The survey lists photographic collections held by department as well as an overview of systems and problem areas in the musuem's management of photographic collections and copyright. The survey is also attached to a copy of the first page from the minutes of a meeting to review operational procedures at the Study Collections Centre dated 17 July 1990.
