Publicity material and photographs relating to the launch of the Friends of the Horniman on 21st May 1988. The five colour photographs were taken by Louise Bacon are accompanied by captions written by Michael Hitchcock on separate card naming individuals involved in the launch (including Phillip and Margaret Spooner, and Sylvia James) and summarising the event. There are more captions than photographs, suggesting some of the original photographs were removed.
