Photographs of the interior and exterior of the original Horniman Museum site on Surrey House, which was opened by Frederick Horniman in the 1880’s providing public access to his collections of natural, historical and ethnographical artefacts and his gardens. Surrey House was demolished soon after 1895 in order to build the Horniman Free Museum on its current site at 100 London Road.
