The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
One advertisement for the re-opening of the Horniman Museum on the Bank Holiday (Tuesday 26th September). The advertisement highlights “Twenty-four saloons; Oriental and British Art, Natural History Specimens. Birds, Beasts, Fishes, Butterflies and Moths”.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database. Some of this is incomplete and there may be errors. This part of the website is also still under construction, so there may be some fields repeated or incorrectly formatted information.
