Garuda spoon photograph

Black and white photograph. Notes on verso read: Name of H. Temple in Mysore not remembered by Head Librarian of Mysore State Public Library. Has seen H. (or perhaps this Garuda figure in the Sunhi Anantha Surana Temple at Travancore?] Length of this Copper Spoon 5 1/4"/Length of Hanuman (head to feet) 1 1/4" Bowl 1" outside ornamental rim/ 3/4 inside/Figure probably GARUDA, or the Birdgod, with 2 of his wings on either side, with hands folded. The nose (>beak) is not finished (in this photo) but it's besharp[sic] beak like that of a vulture. The bird is supposed to be specially a messager of God. The face is similar to oneof the five faces in the famous Hanuman spoon. Writer at Museum stated this not H. HA33
