Taxidermy case of adult male and adult female Gadwall. According to Edward Hart, writing on 8 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male; right (no 2): adult female, January 8th 1875. Shot by me Christchurch Harbour. Sexes differ; summer and winter plumage, male the same, female differ'.
