basket (containers)

Basket consisting of ten lengths of thick cane crossed over one another where they meet at the lowest point, forming a pointed cone. The ends have been attached to another length of cane which forms the rim of the basket. Around and between each of the ribs has been wrapped a series of narrow strips of cane, spaced apart to leave a fairly open mesh.
