Leather-covered padded piece of harness for a horse-drawn cart. Upturned V shape to sit on the horse's withers, with a vertical projection at the centre decorated with red tassles terminating in bobbles, animal fibre, pieces of mirror and bells. A Christian cross at the centre,and two metal loops in the frame through which the reins would have passed.
