An almost square piece of embroidered textile, worked predominantly in red cotton threads. The patterning is divided into nine rectangles (3 x 3). The central rectangle contains a double square: each has a red centre circle infilled with orange and two orange and one green and one dark blue squares, all in a white ground. The four corner motifs are identical, with a multicoloured square motif in a red ground. The two sets of remaining squares have identical motifs opposite each other.
