Manchu man's winter surcoat open in the front with wide straight sleeves and slit sides, secured by two pairs of button knot-loops at neck, a pair of button knot-loops with curled ends and a tie on the chest. The surcoat is of dark indigo satin, bordered with black silk on hem, front opening and round neck. Surcoat is padded and lined with blue silk.
