4 turned pegs with ivory decoration. The round wooden back with fluting of concentric curves. Ivory inlay round soundtable and in the neck. The wooden finial in the form of the carved head of the mythical animal yali. Hole near the top of the neck for subsidiary resonator. Fragments of 4 wire strings remain in lower string holder. No bridge.
