Black textile ladies hair cover or head cloth from Egypt. The cover is dome shaped with an elasticised band and the back in order to aid fitting around the head. The front section, around the wearers forehead is decorated with crossed and floral sequin patterns. The cross shapes in gold and the floral black. The black textile is folded into pleats at the top of this sequin design.
