Woman's skirt cloth consisting of a rectangular, tabby-woven textile decorated with a centre ikat panel. The 4 ikat bands are woven from a plant fibre (ulap doyo), (curliglia latifolia), and said to be dyed with natural dyes. The motif is 'naga' (serpent). They are separated by narrower, and framed by wider, plain bands in red, black and blue cotton. The shorter sides have been hemmed. The top has been reinforced with pieces of red, and black cloth. A band of cream, woven cotton has been sewn onto this selvedge to create a waistband. Cotton ties have been attached to the corners.
