Hat. The crown is formed by four triangles sewn together, with a long rectangular strip underneath them forming the square sides of the hat. The triangular pieces are separated by borders of blue and green embroidery flanking a line of black stitching which runs down over the sides, quartering the hat. The hat is worked in ?tapestry/needlepoint with a design of brightly coloured stylised flowers and arrows in pink, red, purple, blue and green, on a white background. In the centre of the crown is a circle of red with a white cross. Around the circumference, the hat is edged with a narrow band of black velvet, and is lined with red cloth.
