Tubular skirt made from tabby-woven silk decorated with a central ikat panel on predominantly red and green bands. The panel is decorated with linked octagonal motifs. Smaller diamond motifs are created between any 4 adjacent octagons. Near the banded selvedge is a band of ikat zigzags. Near the other selvedge is a wider green band. This reveals an additional pattern of very fine red stripes. The textile has been sewn together along one side to create the tube.
