We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk. Some paths are closed around the entrance while we do improvement works in the Gardens. Please follow signs on site.

It seems to refer to a marabout, but also, if the spelling is ‘djelimady tounkara’ it would refer to the famous guitarist musician from Kita to the west of Bamako, Mali.
