Venu, transverse flute in E natural. Bamboo tube bound with red and yellow silk ribbon. The tube is inscribed 'E/N' at either end, and with a signature(?) in black ink.. Cork stopper. Seven fingerholes, an eighth hole for tuning. A flute used in Karnatak (South Indian classical) music. Made in New Delhi.
