Cotton shawl, selendang, with hand-drawn batik 'megamendung' cloud design in blue and red in which the cloud motifs are formed by lines in several shades of blue. This is achieved by drawing a line in wax, between each dye bath, adjacent to the previous one following contour of the motif. This covers up the previous blue line and protects it from the dye.The background is in red, and the short ends of the cloth have gently waved stripes in the several blue shades running parallel to the selvedge.
