Vessel constructed from a cervical bottle gourd with cylindrical spout entirely covered in a thin layer of parinarium nut paste. This layer has been inlayed with white glass trade beads in to a pair of horned V shapes in a central panel. Inside the boundary of these shapes and outside of the panel the surface of the paste is left its natural black colour while the rest of the panel has been painted ? red although this has faded to a mid brown with age.
