Hat in the shape of a dome with a cone on top. Lower, cone part is made of narrow strips of leaf radiating out and stitched very neatly together along the edges. Upper part is of horizontal bands of ?twine? Decorative design resembling upper part of pagoda couched on the outside of this upper part. Insid varnished and with coloured circular bands where dome meets cone. Bamboo strip around outer edge of brim.
