Model khon figure, representing a Ramayana dancer in a green demon mask with a tall headdress and costume. The body is made from papier-mâché, the clothes from silk and gold thread. The lower body clothing consists of three fringed aprons and a spotted skirt cloth worn over white trousers. The figures wears a long-sleeved jacket decorated with purl strips, adn two anklets. The right foot is broken.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
