Long-handled wooden spoon. The bowl has a pointed base. The base of the handle has an elbow, and the handle tapers towards the tip. The handle is flat on the top, and rounded below. There is a small area of engraved design between the bowl and handle, which has been stained black. The whole spoon appears to be stained with a dark red or brown pigment, and the handle has been pierced near the tip.
