Root stock club fashioned from the lower half of a sapling. This type (Clunie 13C) retains the rounded beginnings of the tap root and side roots, and is splitting down the shaft. It is bound around the shaft and at the handle with coconut fibre cordage binding and bears tavatava zig zag engraving at the handle.
