bowl (food service)

Small wooden bowl of teardrop shaped section and a flat base. There is a birds head crop and stylised wings at the round end and a fish’s tail fins at the pointed end. On the top of the rim at either side of the bird, there were two sets of triangular mother of pearl inlays, one set of four remain intact but the other set have fallen out and are not present. There are 2 large chips in the fin section, one at the front of the bird and one to it's left side.
