necklet (neck ornament (personal adornment))

Necklet, formed of rattan tubes, alternately undyed and stained with black dye, strung together on a length of cord. At intervals along the length are single teeth of an animal, and at one place a large claw. Possibly used for augury or protection rather than personal adornment
