Feather necklet consisting of a woven textile strap with four vegetable fibre cords attached at each end. The cords are covered with cylindrical bone beads interspersed with seeds and decorated with beetle cases. Attached to each of the vegetable fibre cords are feathered sections of bird remains with smaller birds and bird parts attached.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
