Old Burmese man

Carved and painted wooden figure of an elderly Burmese man wearing a brownish maroon and white striped longyi with the fold hanging down at the front. His hair is arranged in a top knot. He wears a white jacket with a shorter bib-like front panel. His right arm is raised and probably once held a parasol. His age is indicated by painted lines on the body and face. 'Old Burmese man' is written on the plinth, which is square but for the corners cut off.
