Padded, blue, six folio bound volume with the initials FJH in metal on the front, the inside front and back covers are lined with a textured, reflective blue fabric and the edges are embossed with a gold leaf print. Presented by South London Working Men's Organisations to Frederick John Horniman on the opening of the Horniman Museum on 29th June 1901. The volume is signed by prepresentatives of the General Committee of the South London Working Men's Demonstration representing the members of various trade benefit and friendly societies and clubs. The volume's inserts are mounted between thick card frames embossed with gold leaf print.
