Piano-fingered system. Serial number 27186. No label, Jones stamp on right-hand hand bar. 6.69" diameter stained mahogany ends, flat crude simple frets, bevelled. 35 keys: 9 'white', 6 'black' and 1 drone left-hand; 11 'white' (one missing), 7 'black' and 1 drone right-hand. Domed broad bone, bushed, red Cs, black accidentals. Black leather straps, gilt embossed: 'JJ Vickers, Concertina Factory and Repairer, 80-82 Royal Hill, Greenwich, London, SE 10.' Six-fold black leather bellows with gold star papers. Round-end steel reeds, rectilinear reed pan.
