Taxidermy case of four adult male and one adult female Snow Bunting. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Bottom left (no 1): adult male, winter plumage; middle left (no 2): adult male, winter plumage; top right (no 3): adult male, winter plumage; middle right (no 4): adult male, winter plumage; bottom right (no 5): adult female, winter plumage. All shot by Edward Hart, between October and March in 1860 and 1882 at Portfields and in the Sand Dunes, Christchurch. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me'.
