Taxidermy case of two adult, one immature male and one adult female Spotted Flycatcher. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Top left (no 1): adult female, July 5th 1865; top right (no 2) adult male, July 5th 1865; bottom right (no 3): adult male, September 1887, bottom left (no 4) immature male, September 1887, hen on nest. Obtained by me, Waldon Field, Christchurch. Sexes alike, summer and winter plumage differ, but they are only visitors to England during the summer. Mounted by me'.
