Belt, tabby-woven on a bandloom using cream warp and weft and supplementary multicoloured wool warp. The textile is decorated with a centre stripe framed by narrower stripes on both longer sides. The raised patterning in the centre consists of triangles/diamonds and zigzag patterns interspersed with thin and slightly wider bands consisting of brown, yellow, red, green and blue stripes. The borders consist of a red and brown stripe framed by light blue and blue-black lines on the cream ground. The warp threads forn the integral finge at both ends.
