Container made of ivory, of flower-shaped in section. It stands on four feet, but one of them is missing. The body has a board flanged shoulder tapered towards the foot. The neck is also tapered to a straight mouth rim. The frame of the container and lid are constructed of eight segments from strips of ivory carved with floral designs, the spaces in between are filled by thin sheets of ivory. Each sheet has a finely pierced background of vertical strips, against which landscape with figures are carved in relief. Three bands of carved beadwork and linear pattern on side of the mouthrim, flange and footrim. The legs are decorated with openwork floral sprays.
