Wooden dipper, lacquered and overlaid with mother of pearl in rows of squares, offset as in brickwork. It has a sliding lid in the top. Square box-shaped water container with a long, gently curved handle set across the top diagonally, with a metal supporting hook above close to the box, and a hole towards the far end, through which a cord may originally have passed.
