Milk pail, wood. Small pail made from a hollowed branch of Taxus baccata L. (yew) with a fitted wooden base. A small wooden loop handle is inserted on either side and there is a fitted wooden lid perforated in two places. Presumably this was kept in place by carrying-cords passing from the handles through the apertures.
