Arrow and plug. The shaft is made from arrow reed (Gynerium saggitatum, called 'waiwu') with a wood foreshaft bound with krawa fibre, and a wooden plug in the end. The flight is made of two radial feathers bound at both ends and some points between with cotton fibre, decorated with red and black bands above and below, and tufts of smaller feathers. The end is notched and bound with cotton thread, painted red and black.
