Square cream barkcloth with a slightly glossy surface. The textile is decorated with stencilled patterns in black and brown. These create a centre panel and 4 borders. The centre panel contains a floral motif on a brown ground. The inner border consists of linked X- shaped motifs on a black ground. The second border contains a different X-shaped motif with 2 diamond shaped in the cross-over, again against a black ground. The third border contains a slightly elongated version of the motifs in the innermost border, this time against a brown ground. The outermost border is a repeat of the second one.
