Free reed aerophone, used as a signalling instrument for hunting or in battle. Side-blown (or sucked). Made from hornbill beak of the genus Anorrhinus, with a free reed of brass taken from a bullet case, held in place with beeswax. Made by Red Star, a Karen rebel soldier. These horns are commonly made from larger, cow horns.
